Principal’s Welcome

Mary MacKillop primary school is a welcoming, inclusive school where, in the spirit of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, we are a Catholic community Inspiring Hearts and Minds. Student’s needs come first and everyone is valued and respected. Our school community welcomes and celebrates over 45 different nationalities. We work with families to create strong partnerships between home and school.

Mary MacKillop primary school opened in 1995, the same year as St Mary of the Cross MacKillop was beatified. We are one of three schools in the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians, Narre Warren.

Mary MacKillop primary school places student needs first and strives to build confident and resilient learners supported by a community of caring and adaptive experts. Our school is safe, student centred and animated by our school values (respect, responsibility, courage, compassion and problem solving), our Christian story and the Principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
