MACKILLOP MARKET - Tylah Meunier
Last Friday we had the inaugural MacKillop Market stall outside the Lomas Gym. The idea to sell our produce to families came from our students who enjoy helping in the veggie garden. The students had worked hard planting, harvesting and preparing the veggies ready for selling on Friday afternoon. It was awesome to be able to both sell and show off the students work in the garden.
We have had many helping hands in our MacKillop Veggie Garden over the last few terms. We'd like to make a special mention of our two environmental leaders Rehana and Levi for all their work in the garden and our stall holders Adam and Rehana did a wonderful job spruikuing and selling our produce at market on Friday.
Thanks to everyone who came and bought our produce. Every purchase goes towards restocking our garden for future markets. We loved you to share what yummy foods you made with our produce.
The MacKillop Market will be open again tomorrow from 2.45 - 3.00pm
outside the Lomas Gym!
